Raising money for another nation is not an easy thing to do. Many people prefer to just keep their heads in the sand and try not to notice the poverty and deplorable conditions around them.
Everyone wants to do well, to succeed. People in impoverished areas want the same thing. They want to see their children grown up, be happy and healthy, educated, and with a decent future. We are so blessed here in America. Sure we have our poor but nothing compares to the poverty outside of America.
The first two of God’s Commandments, Love thy God first (the greatest Commandment), love thy neighbor second (the second greatest Commandment). (See the Scripture verses below)
We have so much more than a lot of others. Even our most poor cannot compare to the poor in other countries. We toss so much food, clothing and usable items away that they would love to have. Right now though clean parasite free water is what these children need at the school and the rescue center.
The freedom to drink water freely, to shower the dirt and heat of the day off and to be able to wash your clothes is a luxury item for them but something taken for granted over here. Won’t you please help?
A monetary donation no matter the size can help. We must look out for our neighbors whether they live right next door or a continent away. We are all people facing everyday problems, some more extraordinary than others.
Matthew 22:36-40 King James Version (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
